lettering off pants

How do I take the iron letters off my nexus pants? I don't mind the stitched letters but I don't like the iron on letters. doesn't look good imo.

I think you can heat it up and just peel it off if you really wanted to. Not 100% sure though

Ive used acetone to take lettering off, but you have to be careful that shit is powerful.

If you don't mind a bit of "board burn", you could probably sand it off with some high grit sandpaper. Really not sure how much damage that would do it the pants though.
