If you are interested in something light, lo-pro, staying dry, and "protective-ish" for beer league, then may wanna wait and give the STX Surgeon 500 a look. If you want Robo-Cop type protection, then the STX Stallion 500 looks insane (in the best way).

100% on that page my friend! I've been waiting for them to come out or at least for some sort of price guide/range to be available (im told it will be this month?). I'm just hoping that the CL's will still be available when the Surgeons are put on the market. So its more or less down to one of those two pads.

That said, if I can find a sweet deal on some nexus 8000 or older reeboks I'm prepared to sew my 5030 caps on :p
