Thanks everyone for the appreciation. I try to carry my in-person customer service over from my pro shop to my work here.

The CCM U+CS elbow pads definitely had a defect in the neoprene. I have replaced plenty of them no questions asked. (Of course, not everyone's ripped, but a fair amount did)

For a jock I recommend Shock Doctor. I've had good luck with the basix 275. You would be a medium in that model from my prospective.

+2 on Edge socks. They aren't very durable however.

I would recommend against the CCM CS shins too. A buddy has them and hates them. I have Reebok 11k's and love them.

People were probably ripping them because they were putting them on fastened. I undo the straps to put them on and the straps are just like new.

Yep, totally agree. Unfortunately, I think gear needs to be designed to withhold a certain amount of misuse (Not totally CCM's fault)

A lot of guys leave the straps in the same position as the day they got them and just slide them on/off which is more than likely what made that happen in most cases.

Not to mention the smaller sizing (IMO) putting added stress on the straps

Josh- My CLs seem to be doing this too. Did you get them returned as well?

I've had returns on all models with the neoprene straps

Not saying it was an epidemic or anything, just that it was not out of the ordinary for someone to call in with that issue
