NHL Practice Jerseys

Recommended Posts

Looking to purchase an NHL practice jersey but don't know what the difference between the two options I have is. One is an officially licensed jersey and the other is a pro stock practice jersey. I haven't been able to find a pro stock in any size other than 58 either while the officially licensed jerseys are sized M-XXL.

This is said to be the "officially licensed" jersey.

The officially licensed jerseys are replicas while the other one you posted is from the team.

The pro stock ones will be much better quality and will generally fit better over equipment while the replicas are made to be worn to games and not with protective gear on. The logos will be heat pressed/glued on the replicas while the authentics will be sewn on and in general better quality.

Wish I could find anything smaller than a 58.

I got a size 58 pro stock Reebok Edge 3.0 Oiler practice jersey from meigrey- by far my favorite material for a jersey- lightweight, thin, and tough as hell.

Ya the quality is second to none really. I wasn't aware there was a 3.0. Are they strictly a practice jersey and the 2.0 a game jersey?

Some people have been using that term to refer to the newest style of practice jerseys. They're still made of Air-Knit/X-trafil like the 2.0.
