MikeWhy 39 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 Okay so I'm got a re akt 100 yesterday in white as I have used white since I started playing. I like the look of whiting out most of what I use and...yeah. So what has me asking this question is if I have to wear a black helmet for maybe potentially playing an extremely high level(wishful thinking but hey, I have silly aspirations) and having to have matched helmets, I wouldn't want to make a huge investment a 2nd time simply for a black helmet and I feel as though I need to make a good investment in helmets due to me already having 3 mild concussions and in fear of getting another one. So if push came to shove...is it possible to have a helmet somehow powder coated/painted a certain color to perfection without worry of chipping?
IPv6Freely 2096 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 No, painting a helmet weakens the plastic and voids the warranty, also voiding HECC.
