Tufftek and Irons?

I picked up a pair of Bauer 4-Roll Pro Junior gloves for a nephew of mine for like 20 bucks and kind of want to give them some flair as a birthday gift. I saw a couple half-inch iron-on letters and was wondering if it's safe to use an iron on tufftek. Will it melt?

I actually did the same thing with a pair of warriors for my son. you'll be fine, just use a layer of cloth like a t-shirt or sheet between the Iron and the glove/numbers. Don't overdo the heat. Let them sit for 5-10 minutes before checking to make sure the numbers adhered.
