Difference between CCM FM480 and FM580 cages

I am assuming the 580 is newer but what is the difference?

different chin cups. FM480 is a molded foam cup and the FM580 is similar but has a moisture wicking fabric texture.

I feel like they fit different overall...I wear a medium in the 480 and a medium in the 580 never fit right. I would try on before you buy to confirm your size.
