Reebok RibCor/Warrior DT1LT/Sher-Wood EK15

Recommended Posts

Hello MSH!

I'm having a hard time choosing between these sticks and thought if someone here has experience from these. I've read all reviews and googled the whole interweb i've found but can't pick one, it's hard to find how they really compare to each other.

I read from somewhere that the ribcor is maybe more like mid-low? I've only managed to try DT1LT and EK15 at shop, but that certainly doensn't tell much about the stick.

Coming from a totalone nxg, I'm looking for a low-kick stick as my shooting is quite bad with the TO. Could get the ribcor for 173€, DT1LT for 209€ and EK15 for 190€. I'm looking for good puck feel and poppy snappers/wristers. I rarely ever shoot slapshots.

I'd appreciate any experiences about these sticks, especially compared to each other. Which would be the best pick?

Thanks in advance.

To me the ribcor blade was too pingy/lively. If you want a more dampened blade feel consider the Base Nasty. Low kickpoint with great pop on snaps and wristers. Affordable as well.

I would agree the Ribcore's blade is way too pingy. You might want to consider an Easton V9E or an RBZ stage 2. In my opinion both better options than what your considering.

I don't think they sell Bases in Europe, at least I can't find them anywhere.

I've heard the stage 2's blade feels thick and has a bad puck feel. The easton is also an option, but I've read a lots of complaints about the durability.

Thanks both of you for replies.

Base ships to Finland.

After shipping and taxes I'm not sure if the sticks are such a good value anymore though.

Anyway, out of those three I'd probably go with the Ribcor. Some people love the Warriors too, I myself didn't like the DT series that much. Where are you located?

I think it comes pretty expensive when you order a stick outside the EU. I'm in Finland, too.
