EinsamWulf 3 Report post Posted December 15, 2014 I'm looking for a good place to develop my skating in San Diego and am curious if anyone has any experience or at least knowledge of the various programs in the area. I live up in North County (San Marcos) and so my options are the Iceoplex in Escondido (which is incredibly close), the SDIA and IceTown in Carlsbad (which is supposed to be opening soon so I can understand if no one has any info on this). If anyone has any suggestions or past experience they could share that would be great.Thank for your time. IPv6Freely 2092 Report post Posted December 15, 2014 SDIA has decent power skating classes. I hear Iceoplex is pretty good too but have no info. Are you on a team at Iceoplex?
SirJW 207 Report post Posted December 16, 2014 Look for these classes when they come to the area. I've done both multiple times and always walk away a stronger skater. Sure they are a bit pricey, but IMO worth every penny. Classes are divided upon skill level so no need to feel shy. One thing I've done over the years is concentrate extra hard on the exercises that I need the most work on as the classes tend to cover everything and sometimes it gets overwhelming.http://www.robbyglantz.com/http://www.laurastamm.com/
