Undrilled Bauer boots from factory?

Recommended Posts

Ok,

For reasons that I have posted in previous threads I have converted over to Tblades as TBH i just get on with them and getting a decent consistant sharpen in my part of the woods is near on impossible and cost a fortune, has anyone ever purchased a Bauer boot without a holder mounted?.

It would poss be a Nexus boot I am looking at and I will be happy to purchase the tool that would allow me to mount Graf style fasteners as this takes away the need to rivett..

Any in put welcome

The graf RMS screws and nuts should be available through any dealer selling graf skates..

And i dont think you'll need any special tool to mount them either. When i mounted RMS nuts on a pair of old CCM tacks skates with prolite holders, i just used a knife to remove the pipe rivets and a file to remove the copper rivet.. Then i used a hammer and cut off screwdriver to jam the RMS nuts into the existing holes.. The ones in the front can be a bit tricky, but it's nothing a mind and a vice can't fix

You have the option to get RMS nuts and screws direct from Tblade and the tool makes the job way easier plus its only $29.99, having mounting a runner using T nuts I will be happy to invest for the correct tool to make it a pain free job..
