Warrior QR1 vs QR Pro

Recommended Posts

After reading the descriptions, it seems the extra $60 for the QR1 is to shave 4 milliseconds off the release time. I don't play at a level where 4 milliseconds is the difference between scoring or not. Is there some other important factor that I'm missing? Anyone here have some experience with those sticks that can offer some insight?

Thanks in advance.

yes, you are missing a few things.

The QRPro has a longer length uncut (63 vs 60 I believe), higher weight, and I believe is supposed to be stronger which leads to the higher weight.

this discussion has more on it, but you have to read a bit before QR pro mentioned

Awesome! Thanks for that link. I actually read through about 3 pages of that thread before I posted my own and didn't see anything. Turns out I didn't read down far enough.

Anyway, I'm currently using a DT1 ST and I love the stick. Good hard shot and a solid feel. But I've had it for about a year now, and normal wear and tear has taken it's toll. Time to relegate it to back-up duty. It seems like I'd probably like the QR Pro since I like the ST so much.

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

I use QR Pro and like it. Solid, light feel, and the stick fires quick lasers. Only complaint is that the W88 curve is more open than I care for, but that has nothing to do with the QR Pro or your choice. Gonna give the 1X shaft/blade combo a try, as the P88 seems more closed.
