Yea you can do that.  They have goatskin palms with Trigger Finger on their site to order and Gary confirmed with me that they can go on X70s.

Awesome, I think i'm going to do that rather than having to buy a whole new pair of gloves. I mean I love my X70i's and they're a very high quality glove, it's just this damn index finger problem and with these new palms my problem will be solved and I won't have to shell out $100+ :).

I know you said they work on the X70's, would they work on the X70i's as well?
