st louis only played for them during the spangler cup. thats what it said on tv.

St. Louis plays for Lausanne (also a swiss team) in the regular season. Aebischer was really pissed, since he was only backup for Sparta, as he is in regular season by the way. It`s a really bad year for him.

The Rangers were stacked, but not with the right guys. If you stack a team with a bunch of dangler-puck-carrier-glory-hogs your never going to win. If you stack a team with the right guys (ex. Gretz + Lemieux, two of the best players ever, and they mesh well becasue of their different styles) you will win anything. That is just what Davos did in this tourny.

Prague and Metallurg Magnitogorsk were stuffed with Pros too (Nabokov, Sykora, Aebischer, Gonchar etc.) The thing is, that Thornton and Nash play both for Davos during the regular season, so they were already used to each other. St. Louis played very dissapointing.
