Practice Gloves

Anyone use something other than your regular hockey gloves when shooting/stick handling off ice? It doesn't take long for my gloves to get soaked when I am messing around in the driveway or with some friends at a local gym. When going without gloves I can feel blisters forming and I would rather not throw my hands in cold wet gloves if I have a game the next day. Protection really isn't an issue so I was thinking batting gloves or mechanic gloves might work well for what I need them for, plus I can keep my regular gloves with the rest of my gear. Any other suggestions or thoughts?

• Buy one of these if you're worried they won't be dry the same day for a game (takes about 90mins to dry and works well for skates too):  Maxxdry Glove/Boot Dryer
• Buy a second, third or fourth pair of gloves

Buy a second pair of the cheapest gloves you can find, or just dry them out after using with a fan or something.

Heck a pair of low end gloves on clearance will likely be cheaper than a pair of batting gloves these days.

True, especially this time of year.
