MDE3 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2005 Yes it was originally "V-form" later sold by Nexed who I believe bought the rights to "V-Form". There were three versions, the 16 degree..original "V-Form", then Nexed came out with an 8 degree version, and a 2 degree version....even the 2 degree version, while almost not visible to the eye, seemed to offer a little better push off. Most I now did not like the 8 or 16 degree versions, although of course some swore by them. Personally I liked the 2 degree, but could not get used to the 16's, and never tried the 8 degree. The 2 degree and 8 degree chassis were also HiLo's. The Kuzak "split frame" chassis was also a HiLo chassis, but used (2) x 68mm and (2) x 76mm wheels. Aussie Joe 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2005 I remember when I played U/17 Nationals our assistant captain swore by his V forms. Until one of the chassis snapped half way through a game and then he swore at them! ;)
Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted January 3, 2005 They were awful when I had them. Unbelievably heavy and they turned my socks yellow. Thats when I started going barefoot. The boot die NEVER went away either, all season long 50+ games, die on my socks or boots. Found them to be very heavy and difficult to maneuver in.

The boot die NEVER went away either, all season long 50+ games, die on my socks or boots. Found them to be very heavy and difficult to maneuver in. I lasted 10 minutes on my only attempt to use them...maybe I exagerate...3 minutes maybe.... I think some of the chassis were mounted in reverse too, with the angle of the lead wheels going outwards instead of inwards...I know the one's I tried were like that, and one other player too who tried them right after I did....It was a terrible feeling to see the floor coming up to meet you so fast, as you tried to accelerate with the lead wheels angled out like that...feet just went out from under.
