true1 question

Recommended Posts

well, the blade on my inno true1 has gone to hell, and im about to retire it, but i am wondering if it could be made into a shaft. I KNOW that it is a real one piece and there is no blade tenon in the shaft, but just out of curiousity can it be done and has anyone tried? i can see a little fuse line where the joined the blade and shaft is that where i should cut if i try?

If your going to retire it I would giver a go. I'm planning on trying to put a blade in one of my old Sherwood 7000's, that should be interesting.

Worked for two of my old True-1s. The shafts didn't last very long afterwards, but it can be done...

Be prepared to chisel...and chisel...and chisel...

can anyone post pics so i know where to cut? and by chisel you mean chisel the foam out so the blade tenon fits right?

wow the blade just gets wrose after every use, its at a point now where theres a giant creaking noise when i put pressure anywhere on the blade, i think its from the broken foam.
