Pro Stock FT1 w XS holder vs Retail FT1

I'm curious about the weight of the XS vs. the regular SB. The Step Steel you have in them would affect the weight though and so would the pro custom build. My custom FT1's were definitely heavier than retail. Does anyone know if the XS weigh more than the SB?

The XS holder was 4 grams heavier than the SB 4.0 holder. The STEP was 12 grams heavier than the Hyper Glide steel.

Why are people always so concerned about weight when in most cases it's negligible.
