Help with vision in a cage.

Vision is an incredible thing, there's a small circle where you see things with, and the rest is a mixture of your periphery vision and what your mind makes up. This blending magic is easier if the colours and textures of the landscape that your mind is making up is uniform (white grills on white ice). 

Another way you can help is to try moving the cage up or down/closer to your face/farther away from your face in order to give your central vision a clear path between the grates. You can do this by flipping up the helmet connector, or by adding washers to them.
