Has anyone tried this blade? I saw it at my LHS and it feels very... unique. My mom has this crystal nail filer thing and this blade feels JUST like it.

Last time I saw it, it was around $60-$70cdn. Not sure if the price went down, but if it does, I might try one of these out.

Correct. I've been using the tapered blade for over a month now and that's pretty close to a record for me. The feel is nice catching passes, feels a bit strange on slappers to me though. I think it's just because of the curve. We have a couple of 80 flex OPS in the shop and the feedback has been pretty popular. We only got one tapered blade in for me to demo.

could you say anything more about the construction of the blade? their web site has little info regarding it. is it more of a composite, or abs like vector feel, or what? and did your shop get any of their wood blades? how do they look?

They appear to be a normal composite/foam construction. I'll know more when I finally break it. The wood blades I saw had a crappy fiber wrap that looked blown on instead of a sheet that was laid on it. There were spots that were thick and other spots of bare wood. That's the only thing that has stopped me from getting custom woodies from them.

Christian Torch blades are made by Harrow. The blades are great but there ops on other hand dont hold up as well the shafts keep snapping. but overall the blades are good and feel close to a synergy. the construction is a mix of carbon and graphite thats what the rep told me at least.

I've had a couple of good players in this area using them (OPS) for a month or so now with no problems. I also know of one guy who plays in a full check adult league that says he's been using the same one for 4 months. I haven't used the OPS but the tapered blade feel is better than the synergys I've used.
