Jofa SG 3175 or Bauer APX2 shin guard

Hi guys I would like to know your tough on this one JOFA sg 3175 or Bauer APX2 shin guard?

The 3175 is a really old shin guard (coming from a guy wearing 20+ year old 5060's. I'd be concerned about the plastic dry rotting and being brittle. Have you tried on the APX2's?

I still use 3175s and have another brand new pair waiting in the wings.
