Toe Protector drying time

I apllied a thin coat of Bauer Pro-toe three days ago to my skate toes, and they still feel slighty tacky. I think I remember this from the last time I applied it, but it seems like an awful long drying time to me. The skates have been indoors where it's warm and dry. Is this in line with what others have noticed? Is there anything I can do to speed up dry time?

Make it even warmer! I wouldn't use a heat gun though as it would likely damage the skate.
