Removing Stripes from Pants

If this is a duplicate post, please remove.  Is it easy to remove stripes from pants?  I haven't been able to find a pair of black QRL pants I really like.

Probably one if the easiest mods to do. Even you should be able to do it.  I use a fresh triangular X-acto blade.
