JCon 6 Report post Posted 8 hours ago Hello all, I've recently tried the Ellipse Zero profile using the 3/4 fire ring from Sparx. Prior to this I hadn't messed around with much profiling or different sharpenings. The combo seems quite agile and I get good speed out of it as well. One thing I've noticed a bit is the inside edges seems a little weak. Could this be from the sharpening or a caveat of the profile? I always like more glide than bite but this seems just a little odd. Thanks for any tips or advice and sorry if I'm missing something blatant, it's kind of new territory for me. Open to trying different sharpenings or profiles too, I like to be agile without too much digging in. I cross back and forth from inline hockey so whatever helps that transition as well. Sniper9 535 Report post Posted 1 hour ago (edited) You should only change one variable at a time. If you're trying a new profile you should keep the same sharpening you had prior and then adjust from there if needed. And vice versa. Profiles can change how edges feel for sure. Also there's always going to be a transition period when you go to and from inlines. Edited 1 hour ago by Sniper9
