I've used the sundin pattern for quite awhile, now my supply is running out. I've looked every where and cannot find any sundin blades. Does anyone know of where to buy any or if there is a similar pattern?

There's nothing in the retail market that's as wedgy as the Sundin. The only thing that comes to mind right now is to look for some RPs (Roenick Pros). Mission is coming out with a Ribeiro pattern soon that's a 1/4" heel but I don't think it's as open as the Sundin is.

EDIT: Just read Mack's post. You'll probably want to specify whether you're looking for the pro or retail Sundin pattern.

Retail? CCM? Koho? Assuming you went with CCM, they changed it to Kaberle and I haven't used CCM in ages so they may or may not still have that pattern going.

Ribeiro isn't that open. I thought the Lecavalier from CCM was the descendant of the Sundin, or at least the closest option.

Yes.

Sundin --> Kaberle --> Lecavalier

The Lecavalier isn't the exact same as the Sundin, but its the closest you'll find. Try and find some close-out Kaberle's if possible, if you cannot, Lecavalier is your best bet.

i saw some kaberle blades at sportchek, you might find one there. I also managed to find a sundin, but I doubt it's still there

If you are right handed (I assume you are), there are a couple of Pro Stock Response+ on ebay.

I'm with you. I use the Sundin as well. I use CCM blades and the Lecavalier is same/close. I had one break when at the hosel before I even got to use it, sent it back to CCM as a defect, and they replaced it with a Lecavalier since they were not making the Sundin anymore. There might be some slight differences, but I can't see any.

One guy on my team uses the Kaberle and it has the same pattern as my sticks. Pick one of those two (Lecavalier or Kaberle) and you'll be fine.
