how does bauer's D width compare to grafs D width?

Depends on the model. Should match up fairly well with the narrower Grafs, but be a bit off with the wider models.

709s. im wearing vapor xx's in a d width, id prefer a EE. would the 709 d width be same?

You'll have to try them on. The overall fit is completely different. I don't believe the Widths will be the same, but a D may not fit.

well ususally i would go try them on, but my buddy in the states said he could get me a pair of 10 d width for a good price. so i was just wondering.

I'd think it'd be fine (assuming length is good) because you're in a D width right now, but can go wider. Definately one or the other wouldn't fit correctly.

There really is no comparison across the board. A 709 D is about twice as wide as a 703 D width. The same applies for a vapor D vs 8090/v12 D.

you really need to try them on as they said above..

also ..what kind of foot type/volume do you have..

the graf canada site describes each models overall volume..

that figures so much into width..

i could probably wear a D in a Classic Gold..but an EE in a Vapor is tight because of the overall lower volume in the skate...
