YOu have to talk to a graf dealer to get great whites. So i would have to talk to peranis or something because i really dont like my vector 7.5 and i think next year ill get a pair of grafs. I tried 735 on and i liked them more then th 7.5 but they didnt fit right the guy said my instep was to high the toungu was poking out. But 709 say they accomodate higher insteps or 727 how much would a pair cost with t'blades.

they are pretty tight but i would put some new holders on them...im not to crazy about the cobras

Those are a good looking skate. What are the options to put in where you put the flag?

They only cost me $251 US because I got them for cost with employee discount, and I don't think they charged me for everything. As for that option for the flags, you just ask for them when you order the custom skates.

i would like thank everyone (you know who u r) who tried helping me locate a pair of the graf 735 great whites. a few of you went out of your way for me and i appreciate it. smithy19, thanks for the info,i bought the pair at your LHS. $599 canadian was a good deal since they cost about $540 american to have them custom made. i just didn't know the taxes on items was so high in canada, i see how u guys get free health care thru the government ;) . anyways, thanks again to everyone. i can't wait to use them.

alrite im still kinda confused...so you can walk right into a graf dealership and tell them you want some custom skates and then.....where do you go from there with the design and everything? is graf the only brand that does this?

I haven't tried to order custom skates through another company, I'm assuming you could do it though. Graf is somewhat of a mixed bag in terms of turnaround. I was quoted 8 weeks on mine and got them in 5. One of my customers had to wait at least a month for only restiffening. As for your options, I just call the custom dept. and ask if such-and-such is possible to put on skates. When you say "design", you pretty much have the option for black or white, teclite or leather, your name embroidered on, or your number sewn on the side of the heel, and so on.

i love my graf 705's that im going back to after reading alot about sizing, long story there, but they are 2003 model (i think) and it seems that graf is having some problems with quality lately...are the problems just with the "G" line or with all new graf skates?

If you're talking about the outsole seperation issues, that's a G series problem.
