does lie affect length?

i am just wondering how everyone decides what length to cut there stick

i am wondering because usually i just line up me old 1 with the new 1 and cut it at the same length but i am wondering if the lie and/or the rocker of the blade if it is different then the one i am measuring it against changes things

i have been using a hull pro blade and loving it but the stick just feels longer.

when i hold it against my p19 xn10 they are the same length but if i measure them standing on the butt side the hull is longer...anyone else see this before?

Reason being is because you cut them up by blade length...some blades are longer than others.

Next time, if you cut them going by the lie, then your sticks will be equal.

so then how would i cut them correctly line them up heels together?

Yes, line them up at an angle, get them matched up, the make a notch and cut.
