Chadd 916 Report post Posted February 12, 2005 Dream Theater- any thing from them is amazing 2 new cd's from them this year, well one from the complete band (tentative release in may) and another one from Petrucci (solo album) I have a couple of songs from the album, they were played during the G3 tour a couple of years ago, It will sound like a mix of Satriani and LTE, It will be great. They are of course one of my fav bands. I still have the amp settings Petrucci used on the Images and Words CD. I think Andy Timmons gave them to me. I got the chance to meet those guys a couple of times a bunch of years ago and they were all pretty cool.

skyepiper 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2005 Almost forgot,Check out The Transplants. If you like Rancid, and the Clash, and don't mind a little hard rap, you might dig this. Its Tim Armstrong (lead singer/guitarist of Rancid), and the drummer from BLink 182 (not a fan of this band), and an unkown rap dude...great stuff. While on that subject, Rancid is one of my all time faves, especially Out Come the Wolves.Danzig is a good call, at least from the first album, after that he want off the deep end of the burning sulfur lake. Mother and Twist of Cain...!
