Picked up some Sami Salo Pro stock Z-air Gloves

My eagle X70 14" gloves were to big for me so I picked uip some Sami Salo Z-airs but the outter part of the gloe is 14.5" while the palm I swear is smaller than my eagle 14". The guy in the shop even sized me and told me the gloves would fit right. Would it be because theyu are tighter the fingers seem shorter?

Where did you buy them? here in Toronto at Just Hockey, they had a bunch of pro stock Z-airs and the labels all said 14.5", but clearly some of them were different sizes. When I asked they said they label all the pro stock gloves 14.5".

i just got X70's about 2 weeks ago, and i noticed the palms seem to have a lot more "loose" material than most gloves, if that makes sense. In other words, they don't seem to be as tight.

They are both different fitting gloves. Eagles tend to be very loose when compared to other glove mfg. I personally have worn both eagles and z-airs and felt the same way about the sizing. Also, 14.5 and 14 refers to the legnth of the glove not the fit or width, which both can play a huge role in how the glove "fits" you.

i tried them out at sports exchange in vancouver bc, they seem to 14"

Yep I got them at the sports-exchange, basically they're airs w/out the wrist wrap, and they are nylon with plastic inserts. And yea they are labeled 14.5"

I have Salo's stick to go with those gloves for sale.

Sorry but I only use intermediate sticks and I just bought a flyweight :)
