I just don't understand how anyone right now can think theyre gonna play. back in december, i had a thought that sure maybe theyll get a season in, but now, i just know itll be cancelled...and it sucks

How would teams re-sign players so quickly? There's so many free agents and so many teams with under 15 guys ontheir rosters. I know that the rangers have something like 9 players signed. Granted, they could pillage the AHL, but what about those teams?

I'm sure they have a list of who they want or have had some contact with players already.

It's not only signing players, how fast can they really get a season started. Aren't these teams going to have to book flights, hotel rooms, etc. I know that kind of stuff is normally handled well in advance of a "normal" season. It is almost the middle of February already.
