CCM curve = to bauer P88

I would say its closest to a Recchi.

I would agree as to the pattern, but am wondering if there truly is a 1 point difference in the lie...(Lindros = 6, Recchi = 5)

I would love to see a side by side comparison, but do not have a Lindros to compare to my Recchi...if anyone here has both, I'd be quite interested in the differences/likeness of these two.

i think the recchi is closer to a 5.5 myself - but i think there are differences between companies on what a 5 or a 6 is. anyone compared a recchi to the easton scale?

Lie is supposed to be a universal measurement. I forget the exact measurements but it is something like 5 degrees for every "1" of lie difference.

I thought it was 3 degrees. Time to dig for some info

EDIT:

I was wrong it's 2 degrees per full number

there seems to be mutiple lindros curves running around, which curve are you referring to the straighter one or the hook?

I don't know about the thread originator, but I'm interested in the comparison of the 04 and 05 composite offerings such as the following:

CCM Recchi: V110, V120 or V130

vs.

Bauer P88 Lindros: Vapor XX, Vapor XXX, Vapor XV RB, Vapor X RB.

my lie question on various companies comes from not only ccm vs easton - which in comparison side by side seem all off, but also sherwood vs easton. i have a spezza 7000 wood stick, which says 5.5 right on the shaft - i compare it to my iginla blade in shaft (very similar pattern in the 7000 by the way) and it wasnt really close. the spezza 5.5 seemed more like a modano 5. i agree that lie is SUPPOSED to be universal, its just my personal experience doesnt jive with that. either easton is all wrong, or everyone else is.

The rocker along the bottom of the blade tends to throw off comparisons. I'm sure one of my customers tonight will have a Recchi Vector, I'll ask to borrow one and compare.

I just compared it to a Christian 5 lie, Bauer Hossa and Bauer Lindros. I would say the Recchi as a 5.5 compared to them

I'm assuming that the Bauer blades lies were more like the Christian 5, correct? Or was the Recchi lie between the Christian and Bauer?

Last night I compared the Modano, Recchi, and Sakic lies.

Recchi was right between the two...It wasn't exactly 1/2 way between the two as it was closer to the Modano lie than the Sakic by a slight bit.

CCM publishes the Recchi at a 6 lie...Bauer Publishes the Lindros and Hossa as a 6 lie.

this is my problem - who is right? compare a sherwood spezza (5.5) to an iginla. the sherwood 5.5 is an easton 5. is a bauer 6 an easton 6, or a sherwood 6? tps is messed up too, because i compared my iginla to a messier - they looked the same almost exactly down to pattern and lie - but mess is supposed to be a 6. i question because these last few months ive finally trying to get my lie right and stick with it - even if i change patterns. kinda hard when everyones lie's are different.

that might be cause of the rocker on those patterns, try against the iginla.

I don't have an iggy. I line up the toe and heel of the blades, it takes the rocker out of the mix.
