Nike Quest 3 Team USA Shaft

Recommended Posts

I found a limited edition Team USA Nike Quest 3 shaft at my rink last night. Does anyone know if this is a good stick or anything about it. I already looked in the shaft reviews section, but there wasn't this stick. Any info helps. Thanks!

i had the quest2 wood, and found that for a wood, it's really light. fairly durable, though it dents and chips easily. used mine for about 3 or 4 games, getting chips coming out of the blade...but other wise nice feeling stick.

I slapped a Focus Flex Si-Core in it and used it. It seemed really heavy and stiff. I like the shaft, but the paint chipping is really bad. Thank you for you replies!

The Quest 2 wood stick's durability is questionable in my opinion. My cousin bought it from Sportchek for $13.99 to play Street Hockey. There's countless dents on the shaft portion.

I've decided that im going to buy a wood blade in that shaft and use in the driveway. Do you guys have any suggestions on a light intermediate shaft with more flex at a cheap price. I was looking into a TPS Tri-Core but the ones at my LHS are too expensive. Thanks

I was thinking about the 70 flex Typhoon or the Red Lite. I was also looking into a Z-Bubble or an Ultra-Lite. Based on price, I think i might go with the Typhoon. For the people that you know that had the Z-Carb and Red-Lite combo, did they like it? Thank you for your replies.

Yea they all say its superlight and has good kick. A z-bubble or redlite z carb combo seem lighter than a synergy, and most kids can't buy a new ops every time they break a blade.
