mission s500's

i am in the market for new skates, and have heard great things about these. the only problem is, no store in my area stocks them or is planning to for the upcoming season. surprising as this is, because i live in the boston area, i feel like i have caled everywhere. i definetely would like to try these, but besides ordering them online it doesnt seem like i have too many choices. i wouldnt want to order them only to find they don't feel great on my feet. any advice?

Id go to a proshop and try on every skate there in your price range and buy what you like. I would not buy blindly off the internet inless you absolutly had to.

Hillie, Dynamik Sports in Reading has the S500. Pure Hockey only carries the S300

1800faceoff.com has some S500's. If you can/want to drive to NH (3 Front Street, Rollinsford, NH 03869) You can try on a pair. I imagine you are no more than 2 hours from the place. I live in NH and have been to the company and have tested some products. They are very helpful.

1800faceoff is an actual shop? Sweet gig, I was under the impression from the pics ive seen that it was just a stock warehouse where they ship from. Can you give me a relative figure of how far it is from Dover/Durham/Portsmouth??

You are only about 1/2 hour from Portsmouth. It is only about 15 minutes north of Hockey.com/Philbricks store. Like Chadd said, use mapquest.com for directions from your address. 1800faceoff is definately a stock warehouse, but the last time I was there they were constructing a little "store front" and they were more than willing to show me any product I asked for. In fact, I tried on some Mission s500's while I was there.
