U of M equipment sale

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if any of you have heard when the University of Michigan equipment sale will be held? Last year it was in early March, but i have yet to see anything on their website. Any information would be great, thank you.

I never remember seeing anything about it on their site last year...I wasn't even aware they have a sale

I'll try to see if I can find anything on it...I live in WNY, though, so odds are I won't be finding out by word-of-mouth.

The sale was this morning, and i thought overall it was pretty good. It started at 9, but wheni arrived there was a pretty long line so when i got in most of the sticks had been picked apart. I ended up getting a Tambellini Inno 1100 one piece with soft grip, tapered M-2 shaft, a pair of nike hockey pants, and a few rolls of tape. Did anyone else attend the sale?

Is the Tambellini the crazy Lidstrom with a Toe curve?

I got one of his brand new sticks, and it resembles a Lidstrom. There were a few of his game used sticks and they look like he heated them up and bent the toe in quite a bit.

You bought a "Tapered M-2"? I'm guessing this is some kinda custom, or did you actually mean you bought an L-2 (Red color, instead of the blue M-2)?

Sidenote- I didn't like my M-2 at first, but I'm starting to warm up to it. The only thing I see wrong is that its dimensions are little wide for me, or too square. If they could narrow down the side walls a bit it would feel better in my hands, and probably shave off a bit of weight. I think someone with big hands would probably have no problem with this shaft though.
