Snowed In

For the first time in 21 years I am snowed in, I really can't get out of the house. It's been snowing for about 2 days now and last time I checked the news we had gotten 65 cm of snow. There is a 5 foot build up bank in front of the driveway entrence that is about 5 foot high. I was supposed to have a reunion later tonight and it got cancelled. My mother's office was closed today for the first time in about 10 years. Bad part is that it is supposed to snow for the rest of the night and light snow will follow for 3 days and to top it of rain. I guess the groundhog was right.

Have to agree with sean, here in western Canada the temps are upwards of plus 15 C and the courses are ready to open.

They even had to close the ski resort because they coudn't tuck the snow fast enough.

haha yeah its like +15 here. man i would go snowboarding asap. when we got like 40-50 cm here i there was like 6000 people at sunshine village.

No more pond here too because of the decision of the town. They say that they don't have money anymore for this year to pay a guard. We could have had at least 1-2 weeks of pond... That sucks a lot.

Guard? Man out here they let all 20 outdoor sheets of ice unattended. They clean them 1 time per day except for the 2 big ones which are cleaned at 10 AM, 5, PM, and 7, PM. Our city is just 15, 000 people too.

Yep,we can play without guard but where are we going to put our skates on without places because they lock it up, without goal nets, without light in the evening...I'm really angry...

So,hop the fence, bring your own nets, like they have cheap ones you can fold up. Bring a couple flood lights and a generator or run them off your car.....Problem solved

Typical Edmundston always complaining. If it we'rent march break we'd have 2 days off of school, which sucks. At Christmas my front yard was bare and now theirs 12 feet banks. Oh well, that's Canada for ya!

last year we missed school for a week beacuse of a storms(i say storms cuz it happend twice) we had like 2-3 feet of snow.

we didnt have school wensday or thrusday b/c of power outage hahaha typical for nova scotia now. we had shool to day but no1 went. but now the lakes sucks beacuse of the heavy rains and high winds we got hopefully it gets cold agian.

I live in St-Jacques, not Edmundston :P They haven't seen that much snow in the region for 30 years. 40 cm in one day and about 25 the next day that is pretty impressive.

shes good on the draws pritty sure she just about all of them. no i ment 3 halifax team those 3 are all from the halifax area. i play for TASA and i just asked some guys on my team and the score was 5-3 us.
