crunchy sound in blade

Im getting this crunchy sound when i squeeze the face of my blade of my xn10. does this mean I can expect it to break anytime now? It almost sounds as if the layers of graphite are coming apart.

When you squeeze the faces together? That's never happened to me, but I have heard the same type of thing when I bent my Inno blade before it broke. So yes, I'd say that it's days are numbered.

after the first time time i used my xn10 i could hear that crunchy sound, used it for 3 months after and the blade never broke and retained its stiffness, two other guys i play with had the same thing, and neither of their blades broke either

The blade seems to still be quite stiff. Hopefully I will get lucky like nick and have it last a while longer.

i've got the same problem... but i'm still using it.. and it has lasted me 10 games.. since the crackling noise started..

Typically, I've noticed that sound as the composite braid starts to come apart.
