tps nash

i was wondering if the nash retail pattern was the same as the sakic? i know its considered a clone, but is it exact? i like the sakic but would like something not quite as open. the iggy is an option, i know - but i was hoping the nash was maybe the sakic just not so open. thanks for any help.

i realize how they are listed on the database - this doesnt mean they are exact. i was hoping for opinions of those who maybe had tried both. thanks for the other posts guys, maybe ill try it out.

i have a nash xn10 and a few sakic synergys. Here is the difference between mine: Sakic blade goes a little fatter towards the toe, nash's shape satys consistent through the entire blade, sakic is slightly more open

I don't think you will get an "exact" clone of any pattern from competeing companies. That said, many patterns share similar characteristics. Even Rbk's 'Modano' isn't an exact replica, but it'll satisfy as many people choosing to make the switch to Rbk as Easton's "Forsberg" will for those who choose to stay with Easton.

For me, the answer is "NO" but... it's probably close enough.

seems to be, tho' my LHS had the new Synergy's with his name (Modano) on them so he must've went after the first '05s and 1/2 their catalog were done by the looks.

ive seen the forsberg up close, it is exactly the modano. i agree mostly with what was said about no clones being exact - but i point to mission as an arguement against. the gaborik, cole, rafalski, macauley, and the carter for the m1 are exact clones of the easton patterns, imo. tps didnt make the clones exact, but mission really did, again - only my opinion.

it really depends on what stick you pick up too, you can look at 3 different sakic synergys and theres still slight curve variances betweeen them. i find bauer the worst for that
