Vapor X Gloves

Does anyone own these? I don't see much difference between these & the xv's other than the palm...they're not that much cheaper, but they are cheaper nonetheless. Any help or recommendations on this is much appreciated. I couldn't really find much info on MSH about the vapor x gloves, and searching for such brings back way too many irrelevant results. Feel free to post other threads about them, if there are any...

I have these gloves and I love them. They fit more snugly than my old Easton gloves. They don't have the padding along the pinky leading up to the wrist. I have had them half a year so far and they have held up great. Palms have not changed at all since I have had them. Forehand protection is great. I got a pretty good slash where the cuff is and really felt nothing. I got them on ebay for something like $39 US. Aren't the Vapor Velocity gloves and the Vapor X's the same just with different names?I think the Velocity design is in Canada and the X design is in the US...cuz my LHS has like everything and I've never seen the X's.To compare,the Velocity's are $100 cnd

might just be your store is supplied by source for sports? i think the velocity is exclusive to SFS, cause my brother has a pair of the X's. I believe the Velocity is a XV with a X palm..?

The X lacks the Air/Zoom Air impact disperser on the side of the glove. I believe the foams are also a whee step down from the XV glove. Not positive, but it does sting a little more than taking a shot with the XV, perhaps its because of the lack of Air/Zoom Air on the side. Overall its a pretty solid glove for the price.

it doesn't have the air unit that the XV has, also, the cuff is different... i think the XV cuff is somewhat adjustable, whereas the X has a non-adjustable cuff. also, the XV has dri-fit on the inside of the glove, the X just has a regular liner. also, the palm is different, XV has nash and durasoft vs. pigskin for X. depending on exactly how much more expensive the XV is, it think you should go for them, because they give a lot of features for the price, and they're really great value any way you look at it

Ahhh yes! All these too...

And the thumb is different. The XV thumb moves/flexes while the X thumb is stationary. I believe the difference in price is only $20-30 too...
