Mike Danton <rim shot>

Datsyuk makes moves to open up a passing lane, not just trying to beat guys. Dave Lewis compared him to Forssberg and I think that's pretty accurate if you consider where Datsyuk is in his career.

Kovaluchuk, there isn't a doubt in my mind. It seems like he is always flying and always pulling it around people.

Kovy_ribs you list is seriously messed up Chistov spent most of the year in the A and Bure's been out the whole year (like was mentioned earlier)

Yeah, and you didn't put up St. Louis or my boy Ilya, you obviously don't watch hockey. I think St. Louis is awesome on breakaways.

You didn't say that to the good person. I'm a hockey lover

datsuyk has to have the softest hands in the league. he may not completely fake out a guy all the time, but all the little things he does with the puck are just incredible. kovalchuk and jagr are probably the best stickhandlers who do what they do at full speed. when they pull a move, they don't slow down at all.

I agree what you said on Datsyuk. I think he has the softest hands in the league. But for me Kovy has the best hands to beat opponent on 1 vs 1...

kovy might be the best one-on-one player in the league, but think it has more to do with his skating ability then his hands. no matter how hard he cuts or how many times he spins, he always keeps his speed up. great balance. probably something to do with he early training as a figure skater as a youth.

Best stickhandling D is Leetch. I saw him skate through 3 people in the neutral zone on a PP the other game with the same drop the bottom hand and pull it wide move everytime, but it faked all 3 of them out.

Niedermayer is right up there too.

I was thinking a bit like you, but when I see him in person at the Bell Centre last year, I change a bit of idea. He has the fastest hands I've seen. The puck is moving so fast on his blade, it's amzing how he handle the puck...

Yeah, I agree, he's pretty good.It looks so easy for him to carry the puck.

He may be good 1-1 but I see Kovalev trying far too many 1-3s.

A lot of people like to say that Kovy is trying to deke the same guy 5 times and that Jagr is tring to deke 5 guys in a row...This is how they compare Jagr and Kovalev overhandling...

Yeah...Only thing is one of those guys have consistantly put up superstar numbers. And Jagr usually comes away w/ the puck.

You couldn't be any more right, I know old timers from another board and some fellas on this one who say Leetch in his prime is one of the only ones that could compare to Orr's type of game.

I think Coffey could be compared to Orr

I voted Datsyuk. Steve Sullivan has got some pretty nice stuff when he's on breakaways.

A lot of players are good on breakaway but it doesnt mean they will be good to stick handle players. Breakaway is more deking hability than stickhandling

stickhandling, deking whats the difference? 1 v 1 your deking the guy, are you calling that stickhandling? To me it just seems like the same thing pretty much. Maybe I'm retarted

Do you deke a defenseman like you deke a goalie? There is the differences I wanted to wrote.

You have proven that you don't deserve my respect. You take the fun out of it for others.

Theres an unwritten rule- "When people continually make retarded topics and when proven wrong, will not give up, it is alright to verbally bash them." I really am starting to wonder why you even come around.

I have not to prove respect to anyone. The rules are the rules. Even if you don't like a cops, you need to respect him.

No problem, I will just add to your warning level every time you annoy me. Remember, it was your choice.
