Wilpower Pucks

Recommended Posts

Hey do you guys know "Wilpower Pucks"?

Its a puck made of steel, weighs 2lbs and has 'ice like movements'.

Our steel design allows the pucks to slide on any paved or finished surface with an ?ice like movement?.

Theres also a video, check it out.

I think i will buy a puck and practise this summer, cause in summer the icerinks are closed.

Do you recommend this puck for training ?

I guess you cant get worse with it.. so why not.

Thanks so far.

Wouldn't the puck break a lot of blades just stickhandling with it. And for 12 OZ that is 18.99, you can have a heavy puck(10 OZ) for 1,65 CDN. I think heavy puck(10 oz) will work the same if not better for shot training.

I wonder what flex shaft he is using in that video. He is doing backhands with a 2 pound puck and the shaft isn't even flexing at all!!!! It must be an I BEAM !!!

lol,

2048, if you looked carefully, there is also one that weight 12 oz.

2lbs version - $24.99

Quantity:

12 oz. version - $18.99

And just for refrence it says "NOT FOR SHOOTING"

not true at all,

Do Not shoot puck at goalie * Intended for paved practice surfaces * Do Not use puck for slapshots

you can do wrister as well.

They stole my design!!!! Well not really. I just tried to turn a normal, rubber puck into a roller puck. Fired some screws into it to make it "glide." I noticed my design was flawed when it started sparking.

My friends dad got one from somewhere, I'm not sure if he made it cause they do steel stuff at his work but anyway. It weighed about 2 pounds and if you stick handled it for too long it felt like it my stickhandling worse because it kinda gave you stone hands from the drastic weight change. It made it a little hard to cradle with a puck as well. But it was pretty good for short periods of use and glided well on cement.

it is better to do stickhandling with lighter pucks. It is called overspeed training. I use the sweedish stickhandling balls that i got from sean skinner. Thoes are great to improve your speed and quickness. The heavier pucks are better for shooting.
