Why are v-12's so on clearance now?

i didn't know that 8090's fit smaller... if anything, i'd say they're bigger than other skates, especially considering they're a deep skate.

also, i don't really understand why everyone rags on china about being low quality.. that would apply 5 or 10 years ago, but if anyone has been paying attention, the quality has really picked up over the last couple of years. my guess for why pro stuff gets made in canada/US is because it's a lot easier for companies to modify things suite the player when everything they have made doesn't take 2 months to get shipped over for the player to use.

It's because every pro player has certain demands on their skates, and there is no way they would profit from making pro stock skates in China. In China they make the retail versions because every skate will be the same, where as the Pro-Stocks have to be made in Canada to be customized specific to the player's needs, which often can't be done in China or Thailand. It's basically that China makes the wholesale, and Canada will make single skates specific to each player.

Thats what I am saying. If he has 6.5EE 8090's right now, I'd be looking to drop down a half size (6) and maybe a full (5.5) as you look at the V12s
