Actually you'd be surprised.

I've seen Nylander tape his sticks...he spent almost 10 minutes on ONE.

That does surprise me. I saw him in two different periods the other night with his tape hanging off his blade. Didn't seem to mind it all that much.

I am like that too, the tape has to be perfect sometimes I am too picky, just like I am with woman :P

He's pretty strange. You should see him in the tunnel before pregame skate. He gets in a crouch and he starts adjusting all of his pads, then he puts his blade down on the ground and starts rocking back and forth on his skates...it's hard to describe.

Probably OCD...

Probably just a routine like during the national anthems some like to rock on the left and right skate, hit the right skate 3 times on the ice and the left skate 2 times. I've noticed some guys do that in the Q to get the nervousness out.
