I've had my lacrosse stick for about 5 years and im looking for a new one, i just got a new proton head but what kind of shaft should i get? Im looking for somthing below $60-70

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but does someone have an old stick they'd like to sell pretty cheap? I don't play for a team or anything, I'm just looking for something to mess around with/

I just got a Proton+ head too. Great head, make sure that you pinch it though. I personally like a heavier shaft so I have an older blue and black STX AL 6000. I use mine for feild though, seems like box guys like lighter sticks.

Going to bring this one out of the grave, same question:

I'm looking for a setup (shaft+ head or complete) for just shooting and passing around in a park (attack stick I suppose). Nothing bottom of the line though, hopefully not heavy either :P

Don't know much about LAX but maybe some of you guys can suggest some good price point (preferably under $80 for the entire setup) setups.

I've gone to PIAS and always found sticks around $10 that work just fine for park tossing. I've bought probably 3-4 there over the years and they always work well. The other benefit is that they're already broken in and you don't have to worry about stringing them yourself, which from the looks of it is insanely complicated.
