RBZ 70 rivets coming loose

Son skating in RBZ 70s, purchased over summer. While still under warranty (90 days) the rivets started coming loose on right skate -- had those two fixed for free (two separate trips). The problem has continued and he has had 6 rivets replaced on right skate and came home last night from practice with 3 rivets sticking out that we are going to have replaced.

Is this a common problem with the RBZ skates?

RBZ70 doesn't have any copper rivets, so doesn't surprise me.

Have not had this issue with my RBZ80s. Copper rivets are more durable, hopefully they use them when they replace yours.

Don't you think they should put two coppers in the heel? I've seen lots of plastic rivets fail in the heel, but not nearly as many coppers. Agreed that you don't need coppers in every slot.

I don't know, I haven't seen enough of the 70s since my store doesn't carry them.

I'd ask them to put 4 copper rivets on each skate like on the higher end RBZ in this picture. If they can't do it for free on warranty, it would be worth the small charge. I'm amazed they skimp on putting at least 2 copper rivets in the heel even on the cheaper models.

Coppers should go in the back two heel spots AT LEAST. The back two get blown out the most out of any skate (not just RBZ)

We had all the back rivets replaced with copper.
