Bauer Supreme 1000

http://imgur.com/C8r9To5 Bauer supreme 1000 skates. Bought them to learn how to skate on them. Hate rentals and they were 30 bucks so why not? They were worn 3 or 4 times and boot is still very stiff. Looked them up to see how much they are. Price went from 20 to 60? Have not seen any other ones with the X after supreme 1000, reason? if someone could give me price and some information on these skates that would be awesome!

Those are old skates -- they're an entry level Bauer skate from 12-14 years ago. $60 isn't a bad price.

The X means they were a special model with features from the supreme 2000 skate (one model higher) that year. In your case these have a nicer holder and a thicker tongue.

They were a decent entry level skate back in like 98-2000. They're probably heavier than equivalent entry level models now but I'd say they'll probably last longer than them in terms of durability. At 30, 60, or whatever you paid, not a bad deal for a beginner skate.
