Keeping pants up

I recently got a pair of pants and was wondering if there is anyway that I can keep them up without suspenders?

Let me know if you figure that out. God blessed me with a barrel shaped torso. Even my inline plants are getting suspenders sewn into them.

I use suspenders. Even with the double belt system on my somewhat old Easton S17 pants, they would still slip. It got annoying having to adjust them every face-off and when I came back to the bench. Suspenders felt weird at first, but then it felt amazing because my pants weren't slipping any more!

I use an old skate lace. When I started out last year out I just bought whatever I could get on clearance online and the pants I got were a size too big and started sliding down a bit while playing, so i grabbed one of the laces that came with my skates that were in my bag(replaced them with wax) to hold them up and it worked so well I never bothered trying anything else
