Modifying eagle x50

Recommended Posts

I am picking up a pair at a good price brand new. My question is I a never have worn the one piece solid finger in a glove and if I can't get used to it is it possible to modify it to a two piece finger.

Thanks

If you are good at chain stitching, and if you can cut through the finger pads at the places you need the bends, you could add material to the fingers to seal off the foam / pads.

I agree that if they're broken in, you'll never know the difference. I recently had 2 pairs of gloves made off the X50 specs by Eagle to replace my 13+year old ones that were shot. I went split finger with these and they felt no different than my old broken in gloves. There is a reason why Eagle was on of the most popular gloves when the X50s/X70s came out, they were comfortable. They didn't move forward with the times though but their gloves are still great

If you can't get used to the one piece finger then I would suggest contacting Eagle as they would be able to modify them to a two piece finger for $40 (not including taxes or shipping).
