  1. Welcome to Pittsburgh DP!
  2. Not sure if right thread but only ref one I could find. What do you guys eat between games or before games. I have been doing a lot of 3/4 games in row (up from usually no more than 2) and by the middle of game 3, Im starving and then end up eating at McDonalds (2 big macs, 2 mcdoubles and a 10 piece) after because Im just tired and hungry
  3. Look at your local beer league, way too much cheap play because (esp in our area) refs are there to get a paycheck and guys know they wont have to answer for their cheap shots by getting the butt kicked. I know that if I do something stupid that could lead me to getting punched in the mouth, im a lot less likely to do it. I like the idea of this line, this will also make boarding calls a no brainer!
  4. Depends on the rest of the team... If one day works well for everyones schedule except one guy, why punish the rest of the team for the one guys needs? It sucks having to "cut" people
  5. So the QR Pro, whats the difference with that? What makes it pro?
  6. Used the stick for the first time last night, really liked it. The response felt great and felt like my shot had a little more to it once i got used to the curve change. Very light, pretty durable as I got hacked pretty hard and the stick held up. Overall really like it and will be my new go to stick!
  7. I just had the same issue, ended up with the NXG's at almost hald the cost... to me the cost difference outweighed the little benefit of new technology
  8. Hats off to Keith at Warrior though, he found a way to make it right and exchange what they sent, so when I send them the RH one back and get my LH one I'll give it a better review!
  9. Haha, Im sure there would be! Be much better if I could use it though!
  10. Well I won one on the Warrior VIP but they sent me the wrong handed stick (got a right handed stick and Im a lefty) and wrong flex (not that i'd care if it was at least the correct handedness) but Warrior "cant do anything to rectify the situation" so my two cents on reviewing it, is that its very light and looks nice. Really wish I could have used it. Kinda soured my feelings towards Warrior hockey too...
  11. Would love to be invited out to philly!
  12. best part all the way at the bottom shows "sponsor links" same gloves are listed for $109
  13. is it too early to request to be on the list?
  14. 2nding the dont do it! personal experience its a bad idea
