  1. The same moment or torque is applied in either case (in the store, or on the ice). That's what causes the stick to flex...torque. You can't flex the stick the same amount in both cases without the torque being the same. Trust me, I'm a graduate student studying Mechanical Engineering at MIT.

    Flexing the stick in a store a light amount, in order to get a fell for the stick should not damage a stick. And if it does, then there is an obvious manufacturer defect, and why would anyone want to buy it. You guys talk about sticks as if they are weak twigs, when in reality they are very strong and the only reason they may be weak is certain cases is because of material defects.

    durability only goes so far...


  2. I actually had a guy call up and ask if we were any good at sharpening yesterday. I told him no, we're awful. Then obviously told him to give us a try and that we havent had any complaints.

    Guy did the same thing to me yesterday. I looked at him and told him, "I watched the video that came with the machine."

DARKSTAR...gotta love the little kids with the momies that have just started out and tehn they go over the the stick racka nd pick up a stick thats way to big for them and jump on the stick trying to flex it!! Ive seen about 3 of those the last time I was at the icehouse for a game..quite funny since the mother is standing right there too...


  4. the only gear I buy is it when i don't need it like extra gloves or extra sticks.....but hell im 13 not exactly ''rich'' jobs I can get legally.........I have job but I can only work for other people....can only due lawn and snw jobs which i get 20$ a house for.........when the yard/house needs it
