I think that is one of the reasons the Si-Core was a bust. They were hyped as the greatest stick innovation ever. Everyone fought to get one. Then a year later Si what?

Si core was a bust. Mission had a lot of busts. They always toed the line between gimmick and innovation.

Thanks for the review. Ever since I heard of the sharpeners I have been thinking about an X01. The thread has been dominated by the FBV discussion (Which sounds incredible) Nice to hear a review about the machine itself.

I echo some of the earlier comments. I am seriously considering the X01. As someone that has never sharpened skates, I hope Blackstone can provide training materials. Maybe some online videos, DVD with purchase etc.
